Raggedy Stuie and Birthday Shenanigans

Hallo!! ^_^

Been a while since my last blog update because I deliberately waited until my brother Stu's birthday was all over with :) He turned 22 yesterday and to comemmorate it we had a 3 part celebration including a visit to the Circus of Horrors :D unfortunately no flash photography was allowed so I can't share them but I urge you all to see it if it's ever at your town, it's brilliant!

Anyhoo I decided a Circus of Horrors ticket wasn't enough so I made him a rag dolly version of himself too and called him Raggedy Stuie ^_^

Needless to say he was pretty happy with him ^_^

I was really glad he liked him so much, so far I've got nothing but rave reviews on him ^_^ he's completely hand stitched and it's made me wana make more and more until my fingers fall off :D So watch this space for lots more rag dollies and quirky toys :)

Good morning!!

I am up early today as I've managed to turn my sleeping pattern upside down lollers ^^ I've been relatively creative this week and have quite a few projects in line :D

Writing an email to my friend Steph earlier (http://dollydollydaydreams.blogspot.com) I mentioned my enormous Betty Boop collection so I decided to share it :)

My main collection includes a hench Betty Boop towel, 2 Betty Boop tshirts, 2 Betty Boop keyrings, a Betty Boop mug, a Betty Boop lighter, 3 pairs of Betty Boop socks, 2 pairs of Betty Boop undies, a Betty Boop umbrolly, a Betty Boop coaster, a Betty Boop money box, a Betty Boop glasses case, and a Betty Boop statue ^_^ Most of them have been Christmas and birthday presents from my mum and sister :)

Apologies for showing off my undies so early in the morning :p but it's Betty Boop so it's allowed ^_^

I'm off to sort things out, start new projects and watch Judge Judy for the rest of the day :D

My Denim Jacket

For those of you who don't know... I love to customize clothes and decorate things!! the best example of this is my denim jacket which I've had for I think 7 years now ^_^ I've been adding to it ever since then, I think it's full of enough stuff now for me to show off :)

I'll be adding more to it as my life unfolds but for now this is what it looks like :

 

It includes the likes of Betty Boop, Hello Kitty, Emily Strange, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Bod, Gay Pride (I'm not gay but I support gay rights :D) keys, padlocks, an old charm bracelet donated by my awesome mumsie, and other miscellaneous trinkets ^_^

I'm desperate to add more to it on the back ^_^ I like to collect badges and patches from festivals and markets but I also add miscellaneous obects to it like keys and beads ^_^ If anyone finds anything they think would look awesome on it be sure to let me know so I can get my mits on it :D
